The research used a qualitative approach with a case study design through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and literature review. The results indicate that development in Kaimana remains more focused on physical aspects and economic growth than on strengthening mental health services and social protection for vulnerable groups. The main problems identified include limited mental health services, a weak data collection system for people with mental disorders, a lack of cross-sectoral coordination, and a strong social stigma against people with mental disorders. Furthermore, modernization and changes in community lifestyles have weakened social solidarity within indigenous communities. Nevertheless, the values ​​of mutual cooperation and local community social awareness remain important social capital in supporting community-based care for people with mental disorders. This study emphasizes the need for inclusive and humanistic development through strengthening mental health services, integrating cross-sectoral policies, and involving indigenous communities in a just social protection system.</em></p> Moses Akely Hary Jocom Copyright (c) 2026 Mount Hope Economic Global Journal 2026-06-22 2026-06-22 4 2 1 18 10.61696/mega.v4i2.1108 https://www.journal.bukitpengharapan.ac.id/index.php/MEGA/article/view/1320 <p>This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, lifestyle, and financial technology on the investment decisions of Generation Z in Medan Sunggal District. Generation Z is a group that grew up in the digital era, and therefore exhibits more dynamic consumption patterns and financial behavior than previous generations. The study employs an associative quantitative approach using primary data from 100 respondents obtained through the Slovin technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with classical assumption tests. The results show that financial literacy (β = 0.472; sig. = 0.000), lifestyle (β = 0.229; sig. = 0.008), and financial technology (β = 0.242; sig. = 0.001) each have a positive and partially significant effect on investment decisions. Simultaneously, the three variables have a significant effect (F = 27.130; sig. = 0.000) with an Adjusted R² value of 0.442, meaning that 44.2% of the variation in investment decisions can be explained by the three variables, while the remaining 55.8% is explained by other variables outside the model.</p> Rizal Rahmawan Copyright (c) 2026 Mount Hope Economic Global Journal 2026-06-01 2026-06-01 4 2 19 29 10.61696/mega.v4i2.1320
